Occasional rain has been very light here and although creeks and the river are up the ground is pretty dry.  Pasture and lawn are green but growing very slowing even with some quite warm days.   Planting is underway and progressing well.  This is very subjective and with fairly low confidence, but in the substantial prairie burn done a couple weeks ago, the new growth appears to be slower and less robust than we normally see.  We could really use a good soaking rain.
