Sunny and hot with light winds and smoky haze, then mostly clear and warm overnight with moderate winds. The high temperature was around eighty one degrees and the low around sixty degrees Fahrenheit.  Songbirds are eating a feederful a day. Intermittent streams are flowing. Soapwort, Garlic Mustard, Buttercups, Phlox, and Herb Robert are blooming. Black Walnut Tree leaves are full. Black Cherry, Nannyberries, Hawthorn Trees and Rhododendron Trees are blooming. Corn and alfalfa are being planted. First planted corn is 2" tall. Some more alfalfa is being cut.
