 I am not sure this measurement should count. No new snow fell yesterday, however it became VERY windy last night and lots of snow blew into the gauge. This also created drifting and movement of snow around my yard. Snowpack depth was measured at 1.9 inches, but coverage was about 50%, so I reported a snowpack depth of 1 inch (1.9/2=0.95", rounded to 1). Gauge capture was reported, but I also recognize that this was windblown snow, not new snowfall.
