 Was snowing "softly" for a few hours after yesterday's measurement. Since snow was forecast to stop, I reinserted inner cylinder. Today, outer gauge was frosted over at 0700 and could not see that inner cylinder had an ice plug. Measurement is accurate for precipitation since none fell after midday Tuesday. Had to wait until 1040 for ice plug to melt to get this measurement.
